Ha!

I took up Jez's question and turned up as:

You are Pooh Bear.
Indulgence is not a bad word as far as you're
concerned, your confidence in being yourself is
what matters more than all that.
The most loyal of friends and always good fun to be
around, everyone needs someone like you in
their life.

Which Pooh character are you?

Well, OK. I can see that. Here I am adventuring in Seattle having just built a house in Santa Cruz. It's colder here too, but perfect for those country walks or bike rides.

Now I'm looking for a good cape since this weather is perfect for such attire. I'm thinking of one of these two:

This one is quite handsome. It's made of wool, which is a problem as I'm allergic to wool.

This one is made out of 200 weight polar fleece. It's a simpler cut, though.

Hm. I wonder if you could find a seamstress who could make up a knockoff of the wool cloak in fleece or ???

(I've found seamstresses affiliated with dry cleaners, on occasion. Some of them are very good.)

Hmm.. Maybe I should do that. I mean to include the other cape:

Getting the fall to be just right is difficult.

It's a pity you're alleric to wool, as that first one is lovely...

Hello Simon!

I could follow Jez's suggestion and have a seamstress make one up in a different material. A polar fleece one could be nice.

Or, if the wool cape is well lined, I might be able to tolerate it.

As another wool allergic person, I'd go for having one made in something else. Even lined you touch the outside, it hits the back of your neck, etc. I periodically think I can get something I love in wool and have it work out. *frown* I'm almost always wrong. I do think you'll look smashing in it!
